[UIUC, here i come]
last nite coon and ellen called askin me if i got into UIUC. apparently, they were curiuos and put in my name for the directory at UIUC's site and my name actually came up. so that was the first sign that i got into the school. i was flippin out all nite and looked at housing and everything. i got the acceptance letter today to confirm that i did get in. i'm realyl surprised at the outcome. i got rejected the first time because my portfolio for the art program was not good enough. matt talked to his people =P and i talked to an admissions counselor, and with the help of both of'm, i wrote a letter of appeal for them to reconsider me for LAS. the admissions counselor warned me ahead of time that only 10% of appeals pass and that 90% of the appeals passed are due to extraneous circumstances... like their transcript was never recieved or the wrong SAT scores were sent. i was very skeptical about gettin in and last week, i was convinced that i was goin to go to Ohio State University, so last nite came as a complete shock. so happy =)

[lady mustangs]
our girl's basketball team is playin tomorrow nite at Continental Arena for state finals! i'm so excited for them. last year i was pretty interested in them, and went to a few of there games. i didn't think they'd do so well this year... and kinda ignored them the whole season, but shame on me for doubting them =P it's aesome that htey got this far. really excited to go tomorrow nite. it should be a good game.

went out to eat tonite with matt to celebrate us goin to UIUC and our 9 month (tmw). it was awesome fun. we DEFINATELY have the most fun doing absolutely nothing =) i got chocolate covered strawberries!! matt rocks my socks.
