[retreat]
retreat was freakin awesome. the topic was "in the spirit" and although it is a such a controversial/hard topic to cover, i think pastor bill did an awesome job. everythign was a bit unorganized and not as it usually is but i that didn't really take away from the weekend. the worship was really good and on saturday nite, we were really blessed that a lot of thinsg happened. matt is now a christian. we didn't even nkow he wasn't until he was =P but that's awesome.

allison, steph, ellen, eileen, michelle and i roomed together which was awesome awesome fun. allison, steph, ellen, and i prepared every meal together, and we did it realyl really well. made chocolate chip waffles, pita sandwiches, chicken, instant noodles =P, and we ate lotsa fruit and junk foood. i could definately live with them. we had a good time talkin till really late at nite (while the guys watched us from outside. they actually put out a row of lawn chairs in front of our window, got popcorn, and watched us girls talkin liek we were in a movie.. this went on for an hour..) and laughin it up talkin about movies, books, and best of all: homestarrunner =)

we actually went onto the beach and spent the afternoons there. ellen and i buried ourselves in the sand... while we were in sweats. the sand felt SOO good and we had so much fun being 4 year olds playin with it. we built a sand turtle mommy and its babies as well. good stuff =) i actualyl got tan/sunburnt... good times.

[vball/bowling]
tim came over and watched blindate with me.. it was the funniest episode. they had this idiot twins on the show. they were both pretty hilarious on their dates, but the second twin they showed on her date was the funniest. the convo went like this:

guy: i'm leavin for beijing tomorrow at 7am
dumb twin: oh really? how long does it take to get there?
guy: 57 minutes by train
dumb twin: wow, that's not bad at all. beijing sounds like it would be a fun trip
guy: *scoffs*

hehe, tim and i were just in awe. it was good stuff. jordo and his friend showed up.. and we set up the vball net, but couldn't find the vball, so they played frisbee for a while and we just sat in my backyard and chatted. andrew and nicole showed up as well and we went to craig's baseball game together. good times. i really enjoy watching baseball, which is surprsiing being that ellanore tried to get me to watch the yankees for the longest time an dnever succeeded.

nicole, pita, v, andrew, yoni, jared, levee and i were gonan go bowling last ntie but ended up just hanign out at craig's which was kewl. they're a good bunch of people, had a good time with them. vball was cancelled today cuz of the rain from last nite. was gonna go to craig's and chill with him but i never made it there. lounged on the couch and went to the mall wiht mom and nancy and got LOTS of stuff instead.. and went to ritas by myself.. good times =P

sb is goin pretty good. better than i expected.. but i definately wish matt was home =(
