i am SO LUCKY to be able to fit Geology 100 into my schedule. Thank you Irene, for your advice on takin the class. and thank you Connie, for helping me sign up for the class. u have no idea how LUCKY i was.... it fit into the only time slot in my schedule.. and it was the only class still open. all the others were closed for GEOL100. ANNNDDD i was the last one to get into the class. after connie signed me up, the class was full! i'm soooo lucky. THANKS!!

btw, the party refers to this UIUC party that the parents are throwing..... where all the incoming freshman goin to UIUC are gettin together for a family dinner.... heheh, corny parents.

so yesterday we went hiking at the Delaware Water Gap. it was really tiring and some parts of it were hard to climb, but it was really a lot of fun and a good experience. the view was REALLY nice. about an hour into the climb, i nearly fainted in the middle of a rock climb. i wasn't able to see anything- when my eyes were opened, all i saw was really bright white light- and i couldnt' hear very well either... luckily, the guys around me took charge, makin a nice bed for me amongst the rocks and covered me head to toe with their jackets (cuz it was raining). Mo and Phil were AWESOME and went back down to get help which meant them comin back up again.... thanks guys for that =), and Matt, Jordan, and Anil stayed up there with me, jokin around, making sure i stayed awake, and kept me smiling =) Nicole and V were awesome and kept tellin me they loved me, and makin sure i was all right. i really owe a lot to them. they really are the greatest friends one could have, and i am SO BLESSED to have them around.
