[summer camp]
last week we went to mt. bethel for camp and it was awesome. probably one of the best weeks of my life. Chris Tomlin and the band were awesome worship leaders and Wade Morris was an awesome speaker. i got to spend a lot of time with the girls, as we grew so close that 4 of us were able to sleep tightly in a queen size bed for a few hours, fart freely around each other, and share in each other's yuckiness. i've got pictures posted if you'd like to see.

[roommate]
i was very nervous about the type of roomate i would get. i didn't really voice what kind of roomate i wanted on my preference sheet, so i thought they'd just throw me the worst person possible. surprisingly, my roomate is very very cool. she's been very nice to me and we're gettin along pretty well so far. i was a little concerned that i would be annoying to her because she's 22. i didn't want her to feel like she was babysitting someone while in college or watever.. and i really hope things don't become like that, but so far things are doing really well between us. i'm hoping that we'll be able to become really good friends.. and if not, that's ok.. as long as we don't tear out each other's hair by the end of the year =). i doubt that'll happen tho. things are lookin good.

[sadness]
i've been really sad lately about leaving. at camp, everytime i looked at jeff, i got teary-eyed, and now, whenever i talk to my mom, i feel like crying. it's a really hard to deal with all of this. i started packin my clothes and books and crap away and i've realized that it's the most depressing thing one can do. i think i have a whole huge box full of picture albums that i HAVE TO bring to college with me. it really stinks cuz i only have a few younger friends... and i have a lot of REALLY REALLY young kids that know me... i really hope i get care packages while i'm away.. cuz i'm goin to need it to keep me sane. do college kids send each other care packages? i hope they do cuz i'm goin to be doin it a lot. i remember i sent a lot to phil, dan, and yooje when they went off to college and it was fun. man.. college. it's all so overwhelming.

[howard the man]
i had an awesome time with howard while he was here visiting from atlanta. it really stank that i had to be gone for a week at camp, but we had a lot of good times. we watched 2 broadway shows, and spent a lot of late nites having really good conversations as well as spending a lot of time jokin around (c-o-c-o-n-u-t oh, c-o-c-o-n-u-t. coconut, coconut, coconut, coconut, OHHHHH....) and teasin my lil brother (hey yoyo, what is jackie food's favorite chan?). i'm goin to miss him a lot when he goes to paris, but i wish the best to him!
