so our union had a bazaar and sold some pretty cool stuff. i picked up some stuff including a "christmas tree" (or as i would like to call it "pole de leaves") and ornaments for my suitesmates, roomate, my roomate's boyfriend, and matt. it's pretty cute and makes my room a lil more "christmas-y".

so the next two weeks are goin to be very stressful and i'm wondering how well i'll handle it. got a few tests this week plus a final paper due. good times. what do i have to say about all the work?

"it sucks! i'm tired. let me go to bed"

so i'm trying to finish the old testament by the end of the semester and it's SO HARD but it's challenging. we do have punishments if we don't finish our goal each week, which does keep me goin, but my other motivation is just that it's so sad that i don't know a lot of the background of what i believe and i oftentimes find that other people make claims against christianity that i'm just not able to respond to. it's a good experience all in all and i hope i do finish it.

so last nite matt taught me how to play poker and i must say, i am quite a good player. mind you, i don't know the proper terms when playing and i'm not the greatest at dealing, but it IS fun.
