we're doing a study of our faces for drawing so that we can eventually do a self portrait and i HATE IT. we were forced to do 50 quick gesture drawings of our face in 4 hours... and i started to hate every centimeter of my face. i started with my eyes.. and noticed that the eyes i was once proud of are stupid cuz they are so stupidly shaped.

and my nose is so flat and so is my mouth. as howard put it:

HattieMan: I know, I feel the same way about mine
HattieMan: you see white people and they have carved eyes and tall noses
HattieMan: it's 3D
HattieMan: and I feel like my face is just slits

except i have two additional slits known as dimples. =P
(disclaimer: howard is NOT my recent crush as many of u PROBABLY THINK. he is my cousin. he is awesome)
