so this past weekend i went to UMICH for an iTASA convention (haha... it's as if iTASA belongs to apple the way i spelled it. ok, i'm a dork) it was a really good break, being away from school and just relaxing and having fun with friends.

i stayed with grace pan--who was an excellent hostess (like the cupcake). i surprised leslie!!! and it was so AWESOME to see her. i tried to compose myself when i first saw her but i think i still freaked out a bit too much. yay! we talked about everything and everyone.. didn't even realize how late it was until we checked the clock and saw it was 5am. eeee. good times.

saturday, grace brought me out to lunch at pancheros and it was yummy. i remember papaphil bringing me there when i went to visit UMICH the first time and that's what started my obsession with mexican food. yumm yumm. and THEN we went to URBAN OUTFITTERS. OH MAN. SO COOL. (what was i JUST alluding to when i said that? first person to answer correctly gets a prize) bought a northface backpack (yes, another one. )

at nite we went to a banquet and met cool people and then went to necto night club... had a great stinkin time with grace, connie, will, calvin, and some other people from itasa. we danced a lot and just had a great time.

all in all, i had an excellent time with grace... talking to her and just.. venting with each other. we both really needed it and it was just so refreshing for the both of us. it was the first time in a long time, if ever, that we got to spend some alone time with each other and just get to know each other better. she's an awesome girl =).

also had such a good time w/leslie... it was surreal to see her around.. and to bump into her in the dorms and while shopping.. but it was so nice.. and so comforting and familiar. i really did miss her a lot .. we got to catch up with each other and laugh about the stupid things we did in HS together.... it was good to spit out names and actually not have to explain who i was talking about. I LOVE YOU LES!

before we left, i was standing in the union, minding my own business when ALEX BRUMMEL shoved me in my shoulder. it scared me cuz i had no idea who he was at first... but once i realized it was him, it was a good surprise... ahhhh. so good to bump into HS friends.. SO GOOD.

such a GREAT weekend. thanks for making it great grace, leslie, will, coon, frank, calvin, george, and the people i met on the bus/club.

upcoming events i'm looking forward to:
march 13-15 BRIAN CHAN is coming to UIUC. it will be awesome
march 20-28 going home!!! yay!! horray. excited to see mommy, daddy, jeff, and yoyo. SO EXCITED... and also excited to visit philip and ellen at BC. phil's goin to bring me to a museum.... YAHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
