so today was a bittersweet day. it marked the end of a long string of studying days for me. after 3 projects and one 7 page paper all complete in under a week, all i want to do now is sleep!

i've been having problems with my design teacher.. and basically now, i'm goin to go to the dean to talk to her about how biased my teacher is. i can't believe the grade i got on my project. ack!!!!

so today, the same biased teacher brought us to the park, but then just left us there to do whatever we want. we went to sculpture park, which is basically a park that contains... (man, u're smart) SCULPTURES! it was really cool. basically you walk a 3 mile path and all along it were these HUGE sculptures that were all very interesting and interactive. our class got along super well and we had a great time walking around. the guys in our class remind me of the guys on wildboyz/bam/jackass. they were crazy. by the time we were driving back to campus, they were bruised up and one was bleeding. haha, it was amusing =). i had fun, and a lot of us took our shoes off and walked barefoot the whole way around the park.. it was really really relaxing. haha, we were even dorky enough to run through the field full of daffodils. it was awesome =). it's sad that this is our last class together, because we all got along so well but it's good we all ended on such a good note. here are some pics:

haha, arent' we SO COOL =P the sun was directly in our eyes and it hurt, so most of us gave up and left our eyes closed.
katie, however, does not give up that easily and is attempting to open her eyes!

this is a sculpture called "oracle's gate". when you turn the gate, you can hear a trumpet-like sound through the curved pipes. cool, eh?
