so florida was a good time. aside from a few set-backs, the vacation as a whole was a filled with lots of good memories and fun times.

the first day we flew to ft lauderdale, and we got our rental car--a brand new dodge durango. it was a TANK. HUGE! we got it with only 5 miles on the car...that was pretty cool. trying to get onto the car was not so cool =P.



when we reached our hotel, we were amazed with the room we got. penthouse, baby! we had an awesome view of the ocean and it was a great home to us for the week.





the second day, we went to "billie's swamp safari". we saw lots of animals that made my mom squeel. yayy. hehe. we went on this HUGE swamp buggie that went into the water and gave us a tour of the safari/swamp.
we also went to a snake/alligator show where we got to hold snakes...and alligators.



we also went on their airboat, which went CRAZY fast. my mom was freaking out because she thought the alligators were going to climb into the boat and eat us. crazy mom. it was A LOT of fun. jeff, yoyo, and i agreed that it was probably our favorite thing abotu the trip.



the beach was only one block away from our hotel, so we spent a lot of time there. i LOVE the beach there. the water was really clear, and the first day we got there, it was completely still--barely any waves at all. needless to say, we spent most of our week there. fun times. =) i love this pic of jeff and yoyo:



monday night, when howard arrived, we went to a polynesian restaurant called Mai Kai. it was SUPER SUPER expensive, but we had an awesome time. they put on a show for us. one of the guys was twirling a lit torch and he lit his bottoms on fire. heehee =). OH, and our waiter pushed in my chair for me.. and it forced me to sit down. that never happened before... GUYS... you should do it more often to girls.. it's SO COOL. it made me so happy =).



we went to miami on thursday to their beachfront and did some shopping and sightseeing. it's a really nice town, and the beach was beyootiful!



so we went snorkling... last time jeff and i went snorkling at the bahamas, we were not so successful and didn't get anything from it except a stomachful of seawater. this time, however, we had a lot more fun because we actaully calmed down after jumping in the water and put our heads in. haha. it was SO AWESOME. my mom kept tossing pieces of bread at my head while i was snorkling and at LEAST 50 fish would all swim towards my face and fight for the bread. it was FREAKY!! lots of fish slapping me in the face was not cool. haha... i guess it was a bit funny. my mom and i got really seasick on the way back to shore...it was NOT FUN AT ALL...



haha.. so... the last day i got braids in my hair... the last day, i took out all the braids because the woman did it too tight and i was getting dizzy cuz they hurt so much. this is the result of taking out my braids.. i actually went out looking like this:



so yoyo is an animated creature and doesn't know how to take a normal picture. haha.. it was really cute.. here are the many faces of yoyo on the trip:
