so last saturday, we went to seaside heights and hung out there for the day. needless to say, it was an AWESOME time and i was happy to get to show matt around seaside--my favorite jersey beach--since he's never been there before. we layed out on the beach for a few hours and then proceeded to walk around the boardwalk eating fatty foods and looking at the diversity of people that were there. ONLY IN JERSEY is what i often think when i see things that i am no longer used to because of being in illinois. =)

matt decided that he wanted his nickname to be "spicy" and he wants everyone to call him that. yeah, i think it's crazy too to decide your own nickname. man, i want my nickname to be "tall chick". that will never happen. WHAT NICKNAME WOULD YOU WANT? we saw this sign and matt forced me to take a picture of it..

he also had this crazy "sunscreen stick" that looked like a gluestick and he looked RIDICULOUS putting it on:

"hey look, i'm spicy and i want to glue my lips together. so cool"
they sell these HUGE pieces of pizza on the boardwalk and we each got one...matt also ordered fries for us by ACCIDENT =). he asked the waiter what "butterfly chips" were, and instead of answering, he made us one. they were awesomely, deathly good.

it was a good day had with mr. spicy =)

so today, we went bowling and had a crazy fun time. there were three generations of MCCC kids there! it was crazy!!!!
there were the OLD PEOPLE (jk jk): phil, brian, dan, eugene, grace, wei, jon, emily
there were us, the COOL PEOPLE: dave, eric, matt, ellen, steph, michelle, serena
and the YOUNG KIDS (jk jk): hannah, lucy, cindie, roger, frank, jon, chris
each group got 2 lanes and it was a good time had by all. my all-time high score before tonight was 162, but today, i FINALLY beat it!!! look!

our whole lane did AWESOMELY. eric also scored his all-time best (his score is in blue, mine in red). dave is "my feet smell", matt is "matzo ball", and ellen is "superfan". we ROCK! =)
