spring break was amazing =). thanks to everyone who made it unforgetable. i'm back at champaign now--kind of bummed out about that but it's good to be back too.

rundown of spring break:

fri: i traveled the whole day.. had lots of complications and got home 3 hours later than i had planned, but i won't sit here and complain about that. I got back to Marlboro at around 10pm--a few hours later than i expected, causing me to miss the Marlboro Outreach i had planned to go to. I got home and my mom and i went to nancy's house and we had a mother/daughter night w/Min&MamaHu, Sam&Nancy, and Eileen&Wendy. We sat around eating SO MUCH great food (thanks Nancy for all the food you prepared for me! you know how to satisfy my craving for good food)and talked til really late into the night.

sat: spent time w/my family. watched Saw with my brother Jeff. We were both so freaked out that i called Micah in the middle of the movie and had him on the phone with me for the remainder of the movie. I forced him to tell me exactly what was going to happen before i watched it and then i'd tell jeff because we were both too freaked out to find out ourselves. =P

sun: went to church with my family. it's so good to go home and visit my home church MCCC. I got to see my babies!! I went into the nursery and baby hope ran right up to me and called my name out. such a great feeling, haha. It's really crazy to see the youth group that i grew up in totally changed. i barely know any of the kids anymore.. and the kids that i do know are (to me) still 6 years old. how did everyone grow up so fast?

Monday: i went to a BSB concert.. yeah.. i promised i wouldn't mention them anymore so i won't. please refer to prior post. thanks =P

Tuesday: Stayed home and hungout w/my mommy. i love her. simple. as. that. =)

Wednesday: So nicole decided to lie to craig and tommy and told them that she was in atlanta for Spring Break instead of home with the purpose of surprising them when she visited. We went to visit Tommy in Lehigh (which is in Pennsylvania) and we chose the worst day to go. It was snowing a blizzard and nicole and i wore our fake-birkenstock-walmart-brand slip-on shoes. We brought jay with us and he just had surgery on his knee so he was limping around campus with us looking for tommy. we were a dynamic trio, haha. We finally found his apartment (after walking all over his apartment complex in the freezing rain)and rang his doorbell and was greeted by tommy with a VERY UN-enthusiastic "hey". haha, it was really good to see him and we got to meet some of his awesome friends (Mike, Scott, Vinnie, and Alex). Here's a pic of us out at dinner.

Thurs: Mom and Nancy brought Sam and I to NYC to get our haircut and to shopping in chinatown and manhattan. it was a crazy fun time. my mom brought us to her client's up-scale hair salon and we all got our haircut... and i got my hair highlighted (oy vey). Then we spent HOURS upon HOURS in new york city shopping for purses. it was hilarious watching my mom and nancy work their way into the backrooms of tiny hole-in-the-wall stores by sweet-talking the store owners. it was good times. then we spent an hour or so in Manhattan's H&M where the fire alarm went off. good times! Afterewards we picked up howard from the airport and made our way home.

friday: i hung around the house with howard and watched movies and crud. the youth group was doing 30-hour famine (a event we do every year where participants raise money for World Vision and then get together and fast for 30 hours while doing volunteer services around the community) so i stopped by to watch my brother Jeff lead worship and to say hi to the kids and see how they were. then howard and i ventured over to ellen's house where we hung around and watched a few awesome episodes of arrested development. boo yah.

saturday: my family went shopping (yes, again) at the outlets and then at night took nancy out for her birthday @ minado. good food, good convo, and lotsa laughter was the theme of the night =)

The Grand Finale
Saturday night, nicole tommy and i got together one last time before we had to go back to our schools and we decided to play.... MALL MADNESS and DREAM PHONE (all of these games are games that Tommy own cause he's amazing).


Nicole won mall madness because she is, in actuality, a professional shopper. she spent ALL her money--not a penny more or a penny less.

steve happens to have information that tommy finds important enough to write down. he is one step closer to finding out who the secret admirer is!


it turns out that the secret admirer is WAYNE! and he has a crush on TOMMY! wow, it's amazing how a game from the 80s can speak volumes on society today.
