This past weekend, a bunch of us went to West Palm Beach, Florida. I got to hang out w/the BC girls and the COTers and it was one of the best vacations i've ever had. a rundown of the vaca: (warning: lots of pictures ahead)

friday (may 21 AKA Micah Wolfe's Bday!): Serena and I met up with Allison in Manhattan and then proceeded to go to Flushing to get some dinner. Allison brought us to Tenren for the best bubble tea i've ever had and then we went to Joe Shanghai for their famous dumplings and... we also ordered "deep fried chicken chunks(w.bone)"... it was interesting to say the least =P. We spent the night at Allison's and got to see her ow-some house. BTW allison, i heart you--you make me laugh like no one else can...and you're beautiful.. inside and out. Oh! how i love you... *ahem* okay, enough of that..

saturday (may 22): we all met up at LaGuardia Airport where i saw ellen for the first time in a long time and mauled down everyone in my path to jump on her and love her, haha. We got to Palm Beach at around 2 and the first thing we did was run onto the beach. when we finally got our suite (which, btw, was the most beautiful place i've ever stayed at.... kitchen, living room, master bed room w/king size beds... luxurious, yum yum), we changed as fast as we could and stayed at the beach for the rest of the day. fun times =)

tuesday (may 24): we got this awesome package for $30 where we got to kayak to a private island and stay there for the day. they lent us snorkling gear so we got to snorkle for hours on end. we took a trolley at 6:50am to the dock and started our way towards the island on our ow-some kayaks. on the island, we snorkled,swam, grilled, ate, and enjoyed the sun. ellen, angela and i got a little ridiculous w/our snorkling. first we tried to snorkle around this dock so we were pretty far out in the water.... at one point, the current was pushing us the opposite direction so for about 10 minutes, we thought we were going forward but we were really going no where. we finally decided to let the tide push us where it wanted and we ended up snorkling in the most shallow water ever (it was probably a LITTLE more than a foot high). wei and i were awesome partners at kayaking... we were flying. man, we're so cool. haha =P

it took 5 guys, 3 girls, 1 bag of coal, 1 hour, and way too many matches to get our grill ready. it took us so long but it was a hilarious time. we seriously tried everythign possible (including solutions using palm leaves, life jackets, and newpapers)

wednesday (may 25): the COTers and i spent the day playing beach volleyball and at the pool throwing each other around. hmm.... at night, the girls and i went onto the beach. the view was indescribable.... almost brought me to tears. *sigh* i belong in the ocean. must get a beach house when i grow up.

our last night, we also decided to play anti-strip taboo. we were delirious by 4am. some of us weren't able to stand up.. other of us decided to make fried chicken smoothies.. hmmm.. =)




ellen amanda and i were on the same time. we lost the first round, so we had to put on 4 layers of clothing.. ellen was an idiot and only brought her sweatshirts to play.


angela, allison and jen were on the other team. they were too good. they lost the second round. they only had to put one one piece of clothing ALL GAME. boo that!


we lost the third round and had to put on one more piece of clothing....


then we decided to pretend we were drunk cause that's pretty much how we felt.

thursday (may 26):the last day, we had to checkout of our hotel early so we went downtown and had restaurant at my favorite place, The Cheesecake Factory, and then walked around the shopping plaza. good fun =)

i tried on this dress that fit perfectly one me. it was SUPERexpensive though so i didn't get it. everyone said they liked it except matt. "ew, you look like a flapper. you look better in sweatpants"... either u're all lying to me or matt is a meanie!


my papa drove me back home from LaGuardia Airport... what a beautiful view to end a BEYOOTIFUL vacation =)
