sorry for not posting in a while...... but here's what i've been up to....

Ninth Letter Spreads that will be in the next issue! check out the site ninthletter.com to subscribe or to see web pieces we did last semester. I got to work on 3 stories this semester with Troy as my partner..... we are the most awesome team in the world!

The first story is "Green" by Trinie Dalton. It's a story of a pink world.... here's what we did with it:







The second story is "Why I didn't Write about the Explosion" by Becky Bradshaw. This was a non-fiction story about a a factory in Illiopolis, Illinois that blew up two years ago. Troy and I went to Illiopolis to take pictures of the place..... SCARY EXPERIENCE. There was literally no one around.. NO ONE.... and the town was the size of my hand. We're still working on this... but here's our start.. we're definitely using the title page.











Our third story is called Mr. Valery... it's about a man who is very short but tries cute little things to become taller.... The author supplied images for us, so all we had to do was lay it out. We made a font out of Jeremy's handwriting for this =) They Hayes brothers rock my world! This is at its very beginning stages..... I'll post the final spreads of all of these stories by the end of this week.
